We were so excited to bring back another year of our salad and wine collaboration! There’s something about having good food, good company and a good glass of wine. We had the opportunity to host our event at Ever After Wine in Elk Grove, CA on a beautiful Sunday afternoon!
This event is all about collaboration, connection, and engaging with our community. We continue to introduce our tasty salads to the community as we grow this business! Mindy's Kitchen is more than just the salads -- it's the team that makes it happen! We are proud to be a women of color-owned and operated food company!
Melissa was in the kitchen serving up her amazing, flavorful salads for our guests, adding the perfect touch to an evening centered around good food and even better company. You had Siena and Ling taking orders and bussing tables and expanding their customer service experience in-person with our subscribers, what an experience! And did we mention we had a LIVE MUSIC?! DJ TuneG brought the vibes and kept the afternoon lively throughout the event, a full 5 hours. From start to finish, the music added the perfect energy to this collaboration. We enjoyed watching guests mingling and having a good time!

The Tasty Trio
This year, we offered three menu items: (1) Check Up (Chickpea) paired with sliced cucumbers, (2) Get a Grip (3-bean salad) paired with chips, and (3) The Jugular (dairy-free pasta) topped off with fresh tomatoes and feta cheese.
Our top-ordered salad? If you guessed, The Jugular — you are correct! This hearty, gluten-free pasta salad is loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients that make every bite delicious. It’s filling, satisfying, and packed with all the good stuff—without leaving you feeling weighed down or greasy. Now that’s a salad worth digging into!
Thank so much to friends and family for supporting the event! We saw some new faces and welcome back the returners. The time you spent out of your Labor Day weekend to be with us is everything!
