Hey Salad Squad!

There is so much to celebrate since our last newsletter.

We hit 500 followers on Instagram, grown our subscribers list 50%, and held our first annual staff retreat. These small wins, carry a big impact.

We set the goal of reaching 500 Instagram followers before our second Salad Soirée and we succeeded, which tells us more of you are choosing to be part of this movement. The newsletter subscribers are the cherry on top!

We kicked off our first annual staff retreat— supporting local Sacramento businesses with brunch at OMG Cocina Mexican Restaurant and a restorative afternoon at Asha Bathhouse. For Melissa, taking care of her team isn’t an afterthought. She understands that gratitude, showing people their value, and encouraging rest aren’t luxuries, they’re a strategy for success, which speaks to the kind of leader she is.

If this season had a word, it would be recalibration. Behind the scenes, we’ve been growing new partnerships, nourishing the ones already rooted, and learning more about who we want to build alongside. It’s meant reflecting deeply about what true business partnership asks of us and staying intentional about how we grow those relationships going forward.
